Top Hat Soldier with Jeweled Sword Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-24-N01866A

Bring royal guard style to the holidays with the Top Hat Soldier, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a soldier in a tall black top hat with a red jewel and a gold crown band, a fluffy white beard under a curled moustache, and a navy jacket patterned in gold brocade with a red front and gold fringe epaulettes. He raises a gold sword set with coloured jewels, with burgundy trousers and black boots trimmed in gold on a burgundy base.

A little collector's folklore: nutcracker soldiers were carved to stand guard over the home through the winter, and collectors say a soldier with a jeweled sword is the bravest of them all.

Why this nutcracker: if you love a traditional soldier with a little extra sparkle, the brocade jacket and jeweled sword stand out. At 15 inches he makes a proud centrepiece for a mantel or entry table.

In the box: one Top Hat Soldier nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a sword, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Complete the royal series with the fleur-de-lis guard, the royal drummer and the burgundy king (F07AM9-24-N01866B, C and D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Traditional Christmas mantel decor, and a classic gift for nutcracker collectors.
