Stitch Christmas Candy Cane, a counted cross stitch postcard kit by Luca-S — a red-and-white candy cane tied with a green bow fills the window of a bright red card printed with festive motifs.

A little stitcher's folklore: candy canes were first shaped like a shepherd's crook to remind children of the Christmas story.

Why this kit: a quick, beginner-friendly Christmas project with just 4 colours on 14-count Aida.

Kit includes: a printed card mount with a window, 14-count Aida, Anchor 100% cotton threads in 4 colours, a needle, a chart and instructions.

Stitch the small motif on the Aida, then trim it to size and fix it behind the card window.

Stitched area: 8×9 cm (3.1×3.5 in). A handmade Christmas card to send or keep and hang on the tree.
