Stitch Merry Christmas Santa, a counted cross stitch postcard kit by Luca-S — you stitch the red “Merry Christmas” lettering for the window of a card printed with Father Christmas climbing into a chimney on a snowy night.

A little stitcher's folklore: children once believed that a card sent with a stitched greeting reached the North Pole first.

Why this kit: the quickest Christmas project of all — one colour on 14-count Aida, ideal for beginners and children.

Kit includes: a printed card mount with a window, 14-count Aida, Anchor 100% cotton thread in 1 colour, a needle, a chart and instructions.

Stitch the lettering on the Aida, then trim it to size and fix it behind the card window.

Stitched area: 9×4 cm (3.5×1.6 in). A handmade Christmas card to send with love.
