A little stitcher's folklore: robins are among the few British birds that sing all through winter, each one defending its own patch of garden.
Why this kit: the plump robins are printed in full colour on 10-count interlock canvas, a larger mesh that covers quickly in wool.
Kit includes: 10-count full-colour printed Zweigart interlock canvas, Anchor tapestry wool, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Cushion backing and pad are not included.
Work tent stitch over the printed canvas, matching each wool to the colour beneath, then make up the panel as a long cushion.
Finished size: 58.5×28.5 cm (23×11.2 in), made up as a long cushion front. A cheerful row of robins for the sofa at Christmas.
