A little stitcher's folklore: beavers returned to the wild in Britain after 400 years; their dams create wetlands full of other wildlife.

Why this kit: a Wrendale Designs favourite by Hannah Dale, it is full of character, with plenty of expression to bring out as you stitch.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive Wrendale Designs speckle, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch and back stitch. A frame is not included.

Stitch the beaver and leaves in cross stitch from the centre, then add the outlines in back stitch.

Finished size: 26×26 cm (10.2×10.2 in). A charming nature piece from the Summer 2026 Collection.
