Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the round body, head, and crossed paws, reinforced with wire — following the included instructions, then set the bead eyes and whiskers once the base shape is complete.
