Felt Basset Hound with this Charivna Mit needle felting kit — a basset hound lying low with its long brown-and-white ears draped forward, dark soulful eyes, and a white chest dotted with small brown spots.

Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the low body and legs, then the long ears and face — following the included instructions, setting the bead eyes once the base shape is complete.

This was not what I expected, but it will be a great needle felted toy for the little ones. I tend to felt very tight so am running out of the white. Not a problem for me as I always keep extra white for these occasions.

The instructions arent extremely detailed but they do provide measurements. I did learn the importance of measurements! Still turned out wicked cute
