Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the body, legs, and long coat of the mane and tail — following the included instructions, adding the bead eyes and pipe-cleaner whiskers once the base shape is felted.
