Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the rounded body and head, then the tail and small companion figure — following the included instructions, finishing with the tuft of hair on top of the head.
