Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool onto the printed felt base and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, blending the fibers to shade the blossoms and leaves much like painting with wool. Work section by section — the lotus flowers, pads, and background — following the included pattern, then add the floss outline and vein detail before framing the piece as wall art.
