Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the heads, bodies, and wings of both birds — following the included instructions, adding the floss and bead details once the base shapes are felted.
