Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — the fairy's face and body, the flower petals, and the curling leaf — following the included instructions, adding the embroidered facial details once the base shapes are felted.
