Navy Axe Guard Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 10 in by Wizardi F07M6-13C

Stand guard in navy and gold with the Navy Axe Guard, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a palace guard in a navy top hat with a gold band and finial, a fluffy white beard under a black moustache, and a navy jacket with a red-and-gold front and gold epaulettes. He holds a gold axe on a long staff, with navy trousers and black boots laced in gold on a round red base.

A little collector's folklore: the axe-bearing guards of old palaces were chosen for their loyalty above all, and collectors say an axe guard by the door keeps every gift safe until Christmas morning.

Why this nutcracker: if you like a traditional nutcracker but want a cooler navy palette instead of all red, he is a handsome choice. The gold axe adds shine, and at under 10 inches he suits a shelf, windowsill or desk.

In the box: one Navy Axe Guard nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Line him up with the rest of the small-size series — the drummer (F07M6-13A), the crowned guard (F07M6-13B) and the king (F07M6-13D). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 25 cm tall (9.8 in). Classic Christmas shelf decor, and a thoughtful gift for nutcracker collectors with limited space.
