White and Gold Sword Guard Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 10 in by Wizardi F07M6-14A

Stand guard over the holidays with the White and Gold Sword Guard, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a smart little guard in a tall white hat painted with gold scrollwork, a white jacket trimmed in gold with sparkling gem buttons, and a fluffy white beard. He holds a gold sword upright at his side, with gold laced-up boots on a white base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: nutcrackers were first given as guardians, set by the door to show their fierce teeth to bad luck, and collectors say the sword-bearer is the bravest of them all. Place him near the front door or the presents — he never leaves his post.

Why this nutcracker: if your Christmas palette is white, ivory and gold, he gives you the classic guard without the bold red uniform. The gold sword and scrollwork shine under candlelight and fairy lights, and his compact size fits a windowsill, entry table or bookshelf.

In the box: one White and Gold Sword Guard nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and gem buttons, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Complete the white and gold set with the king (F07M6-14B), the drummer (F07M6-14C) and the axe soldier (F07M6-14D), or stand him among gold and white ornaments on the mantel. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 25 cm tall (9.8 in). Elegant Christmas shelf, entry and mantel decor, and a thoughtful gift for nutcracker collectors and anyone who decorates in white and gold.
