Stitch The Snuggle Is Real, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a sleepy tabby kitten curls up inside a fluffy pink slipper.
A little stitcher's folklore: cats sleep for up to sixteen hours a day, and they seek out warm, soft spots like slippers because they hold their owner's scent.
Why this kit: Hannah Dale's design was first made as an exclusive for Just CrossStitch magazine and is stitched on Wrendale speckled Aida.
Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida printed with Bothy Threads' exclusive Wrendale Designs speckle, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitch and back stitch. A frame is not included.
Stitch the kitten and slipper in cross stitch from the centre, then add the outlines in back stitch.
Finished size: 23×18 cm (9.1×7.1 in). A cosy piece for a bedroom or cat lover.
