Stitch Pumpkin, Spice and All Things Mice, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a family of mice clambers over two plump orange pumpkins.

A little stitcher's folklore: the world's heaviest pumpkins weigh over a tonne, and giant-pumpkin growers guard their seeds like family heirlooms.

Why this kit: from Bothy Threads' long-running Wrendale Designs range by Hannah Dale, it matches the rest of the collection if you want to build a gallery wall.

Kit includes: 14-count Zweigart Aida printed with an exclusive speckled background, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitches, back stitch and some French knots. A frame is not included.

Stitch the pumpkins and mice in cross stitch from the centre, then add the whiskers and tails in back stitch and finish with the French knots.

Finished size: 30×26 cm (11.8×10.2 in). A cosy autumn piece for October and Halloween.

    Adorable

I haven't started it yet but I look forward to doing it. It's an adorable kit. I have completed 3 of these cute mouse kits by Bothy Threads and love all of them.
