A little stitcher's folklore: rabbits were brought to Britain by the Normans, who kept them in warrens for their meat and fur.

Why this kit: from Bothy Threads' long-running Wrendale Designs range by Hannah Dale, it matches the rest of the collection if you want to build a gallery wall.

Kit includes: 14-count Zweigart Aida printed with an exclusive speckled background, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitches and back stitch. A frame is not included.

Stitch the rabbit and pot in cross stitch from the centre, then add the whiskers and outlines in back stitch.

Finished size: 26×26 cm (10.2×10.2 in). A charming spring piece for a gardener.

    Bunny Flower Pot

    The pattern is adorable and easy to follow. Everything is included in the kit which makes it convenient as well. I've seen other patterns by this particular artist that I would like to purchase in the future. Thank you!
