Stitch Spring Wreath, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — two rabbits leap through a ring of spring flowers around a wooden disc tied with a gold bow.

A little stitcher's folklore: the Easter hare was a German tradition; settlers took it to America, where it became the Easter bunny.

Why this kit: based on original artwork by Jane Sunner, it comes with a wooden decorative disc, a gold bow and silver sequins for a three-dimensional finish.

Kit includes: 14-count ice blue Zweigart Aida, pre-sorted stranded cottons, gold metallic thread, silver sequins, a gold bow, a wooden decorative disc, two needles and a clear chart and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, lazy daisies, back stitch and French knots. It is designed to fit a 9-inch hoop, which is not included.

Stitch the wreath in cross stitch and lazy daisies, add the back stitch and French knots, then attach the sequins, bow and wooden disc.

Finished size: 22 cm round (8.7 in). A bright spring hoop from the Spring 2026 Collection.
