Stitch Love Tree, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a swirling tree bursts with flowers, butterflies and hearts, with 'love' woven into its branches.

A little stitcher's folklore: couples once carved their initials into tree trunks, believing their love would last as long as the tree.

Why this kit: designed by Kim Anderson for her Love Collection, it mixes cross stitch with metallic thread and sparkling extras for a finished piece that catches the light.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida, pre-sorted stranded cottons, metallic thread, beads, sequins, needles and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitches and back stitch. A frame is not included.

Stitch the tree in cross stitch from the centre, add the swirls in back stitch, then sew on the beads and sequins.

Finished size: 24×30 cm (9.4×11.8 in). A joyful gift for a wedding or anniversary.

    Impossible

    Holes are ridiculously small. I'd love an outline or at least a center point.

    Totally unable to do this pattern. Very disappointed
