Stitch There's Snow Place Like Home, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — two sheep sit in the snow looking at a row of colourful village houses under a starry night sky.
A little stitcher's folklore: in Britain, a white Christmas officially needs just one snowflake to be seen falling on Christmas Day.
Why this kit: based on original artwork by Lucy Pittaway, it brings her sheep into a snowy night scene from the 2024 Holidays Collection.
Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida, pre-sorted stranded cottons, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: cross stitch, back stitch and one French knot. A frame is not included.
Stitch the sky and snow in cross stitch from the centre, then the houses and sheep, and finish with back stitch and a French knot.
Finished size: 26×26 cm (10.2×10.2 in). A cosy piece to bring out each winter.

I bought this kit for myself but ended up giving it to my mom who fell in love with it. She is excited to start it.

I ordered the There's Snow Place Like Home kit. It is a really cute pattern. Not sure I can finish it before the snow flies here in Colorado, but it will be fun anyway. Very quick shipping and well packaged. Will look for more kits from Wizardi.
