Stitch Snowy Stack, a counted cross stitch kit by Bothy Threads — a polar bear carries a stack of friends, a hedgehog, a deer, a fox and a little white animal at the top, among snowy trees, toadstools, hearts and stars.

A little stitcher's folklore: in the Brothers Grimm tale 'The Town Musicians of Bremen', four animals stack on each other's backs to scare off robbers.

Why this kit: a playful winter design with Lana woolly thread, Perle cotton, beads and sequins for lots of texture.

Kit includes: 14-count pale blue Zweigart Aida, pre-sorted stranded cottons, Lana woolly thread, Perle cotton thread, beads, sequins, a needle and a clear stitch diagram and instructions. Stitches used: full cross stitches, a few fractionals, back stitch, lazy daisies and French knots. A frame is not included.

Stitch the animals in cross stitch from the centre, then add fractionals, back stitch, lazy daisies and French knots and sew on the beads and sequins.

Finished size: 22×29 cm (8.7×11.4 in). A fun winter piece for a child's room.
