When Mashtakova started exploring the world of cross-stitching, designer courses weren’t really popular, so her journey wasn’t easy. Each element, such as a cross-stitch, half cross-stitch, backstitch, French knot etc. was introduced into a chart based on her own experience, intuition and aesthetic sense.
