Shape Flying Angel with this Charivna Mit needle felting kit — the finished figure is posed mid-flight, arms outstretched, felt wings spread behind a plum-colored updo, and a pale blue dress dotted with sand-colored beads.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: color pattern, instruction chart, Corriedale wool in 3 colors, felting needles (2 pieces), beads of sand color, white felt, gold lurex, and wire. Made in Ukraine.

Needle felting is worked by layering small tufts of wool and repeatedly poking them with a barbed felting needle, which tangles the fibers together and gradually compacts and shapes them into a firm 3D form. Work section by section — body, dress, and hair — following the included instructions, adding the felt wings, bead dots, and gold hanging cord once the base shape is felted.

Finished size: 2.36 x 4.33 in (6 x 11 cm). A charming handmade ornament and gift for the winter holidays or for anyone who collects angel figures.
