Stitch Still Life with Flowers, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — primulas, pansies and garden flowers rest on a stone ledge among broad green leaves.

A little stitcher's folklore: Johan Laurentz Jensen was a Danish painter of the 1800s, famous for his lavish flower pieces.

Why this canvas: a reproduction of Johan Laurentz Jensen's artwork printed in full colour on Zweigart canvas, so you can recreate the painting stitch by stitch in the threads of your choice.

Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design in 30 colours, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included.

Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last.

Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A rich art piece for a dining room.
