A little stitcher's folklore: the Romans hung roses over meetings as a sign of secrecy, which gave us the phrase sub rosa.
Why this kit: the design is printed on Zweigart canvas and worked in soft acrylic yarn with a gentle sheen, so it makes up into a hard-wearing 40 cm cushion.
Kit includes: Zweigart canvas printed with the design, 100% acrylic yarn in 10 colours, a chart, instructions and a needle. Stitch used: cross stitch. The cushion back and pad are not included; a matching cushion back with a zip (9000) is sold separately.
Stitch the design in cross stitch following the printed colours, then make it up into a cushion cover with a back of your choice.
Finished size: 40×40 cm (15.7×15.7 in). A pretty cushion for a bedroom.
