Ginkgo Biloba Golden Leaves Bead Embroidery Kit by Abris Art AB-844

Bead an elegant cascade of leaves with Ginkgo Biloba, a bead embroidery kit by Abris Art — fan-shaped ginkgo leaves in gold, champagne and pearl scatter across a soft grey background in a graceful art-deco composition. Worked with over 7,370 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 12 colours.

A little stitcher's folklore: the ginkgo is a living fossil that has survived for 200 million years — ginkgo trees even survived Hiroshima — so in Japan it stands for hope, resilience and long life. Stitchers say golden ginkgo leaves on the wall bring endurance and good fortune to the home.

Why this kit: if you love refined, modern decor, these golden leaves are timeless and would suit any interior. With only 12 colours it's approachable for confident beginners. A meaningful gift for someone who's come through a hard time.

Kit includes: natural art canvas pre-printed with the design, over 7,370 Preciosa Ornela Czech glass beads in 12 colours, a Japanese beading needle, a numbered key chart, and instructions in 8 languages. Beading thread, frame and hoop are not included.

Each bead is sewn onto its colour-marked spot on the printed canvas. Bead the leaves one by one, working the fine veins before filling each fan.

Finished size: 32×31 cm (12.6×12.2 in). Elegant wall art and a meaningful gift.
