Stitch Winter Landscape, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a wide panoramic view of a snowy valley, with cottages tucked among bare trees on the left, an old stone bridge over a winding stream, red berries in the snow and tall snow-laden firs on the right under a pale winter sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old saying goes that the first person to cross a bridge after fresh snow makes a wish that will come true by spring.

Why this kit: a calm, panoramic winter landscape that looks wonderful over a fireplace or sofa, with 50 colours of soft snow and shadow.

Kit includes: 18-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 50 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work from one side of the panorama to the other, starting with the cottages and bridge, then the trees, and finally the snow and sky.

Finished size: 60×32.5 cm (23.6×12.8 in). A peaceful winter panorama for the living room and a lovely seasonal gift.
